Bob Sanders' Trombone (mostly) Stuff

NOTE: links and buttons to video and audio files on this website play immediately.

Check your volume setting! Protect your ears!

Also – if you are running a VPN, some may not load.

Here are some music tracks that may help tune with my Set-Up drills – be sure to look at them! It is best if you play them through speakers in a room, but headphones can work. As I’ve explained elsewhere, it’s easier to hear intonation with sounds in the air around you than it is between your ears – but only if that air is activated.

The files should be downloadable.

OPTIONAL: tenor trombonists may want to do line 1b first, then 1a; experiment. . . . And some of these go quite high and quite low: only go as far in either direction as is comfortable and EASY! Tenor trombone will go higher, bass lower; more advanced players will have more range in both directions. This will expand as your range grows. These are NOT range exercises!
